| ⌘S | Save the reel |
| ⌘Z | Undo — one step per gesture, not per keystroke |
| ⌘⇧Z/⌘Y | Redo, until you draw something new from where you stopped |
| Arrows | Nudge the selection by 1px |
| Shift+arrows | Nudge it by 8px |
| Alt while dragging | Ignore the grid and the centre snap |
| ⌘D | Duplicate the selected piece |
| ⌘⌥C/⌘⌥V | Copy one piece’s look, paste it onto another |
| L | Pin the selected piece down, or let it go |
| ⌘⇧T | Tidy this beat — rows level, gaps even, all on the grid |
| Shift-click a line | Send this line’s travelling dot along that one too |
| Shift-click a piece | Gather it beside the selection, to line them up |
| Enter/Space on a piece | Drop it in the middle of the phone |
