How a piece arrives
Every piece has an entrance. Left alone it takes the one its kind usually uses, which is the right answer most of the time — the entrances below are for the two or three moments in a reel that should feel different.

Speed and order
Three more controls, all Plus, all on the selected piece or the beat:
- A named speed — glide, snap, spring, bounce. Left alone, everything uses the house curve.
- The order a group arrives in — top first, bottom first, or middle out.
- A path in — over the top, in from the right, up from below, a short settle, once round and home.
People who have asked for less motion
Every reel respects the reduced-motion setting on the machine watching it. Nothing you choose here overrides that, and nothing you need to do turns it on — a reel that animates for you will hold still for somebody who has asked their computer for that.
