The guarantee
If you are not happy with Diffreel Plus for any reason, ask within 14 days of the payment and you get all of it back. This applies to every Plus payment — a one-month term, a three-month term, a six-month term, and every automatic renewal of any of them. There is no restocking fee, no processing fee held back, and no requirement to explain yourself.
Free accounts never involve a payment, so nothing here applies to them. Diffreel sells one thing and it is software you use in your browser: there is no consulting, no human-delivered service, and nothing shipped to an address.
How to ask
Either route works, and both end in the same place:
- Write to support. Email [email protected] with the address you signed up under. A reply comes within two business days.
- Or go straight to Paddle. Every receipt Paddle emails carries a “View receipt” link, and paddle.net takes any order number or billing email. Paddle’s order support can refund without waiting on us.
Who pays it, and when
Paddle is the merchant of record for Diffreel on behalf of DIFFREEL, which means Paddle took the payment and Paddle sends it back. Refunds go to the same card or account the money came from, and Paddle processes them within 14 days of approval — how quickly it then shows on a statement is your bank’s business, and is usually a few working days.
A refund ends Plus on the account at the same time. The reels you drew are untouched by it: they stay in your account, they stay editable, and the account carries on on the free plan. Nothing is deleted because you asked for your money back.
Stopping the next payment
A refund and a cancellation are different things and you may only want the second. Plus renews automatically at the end of each term, and auto-renew stops with one control on your account page — no email to write, and no notice period. Stopping it keeps Plus running to the end of the window you already paid for; that is the cheapest way to leave if you are happy with what you have had so far.
Your statutory rights
This guarantee is on top of the law, never instead of it. Consumers in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland have a 14-day right of withdrawal on a distance purchase — the same window as above, except that the statutory one is given up once you start using what you bought, and this one is not. Buyers elsewhere have whatever their own law gives them; Paddle’s refund policy and buyer terms set out how it exercises them. Wherever a statutory right reaches further than the 14 days above, the statutory right wins.
If something is still wrong
Say so and it gets looked at by a person, not a form. If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, Paddle’s order support at paddle.net will take it up independently as merchant of record, and consumers may also refer a dispute to the trade body or ombudsman for their country. Please try support first — a chargeback costs everyone more than a refund and ends Plus access immediately.
