What it reads
The Checks tab measures the reel as it stands and reports what will hurt it. It runs continuously while you are in Build.

Roughly, it looks at four things:
- Readability — type big enough for a phone, enough contrast against the ground, words that fit the seconds.
- Shape — pieces inside the safe area, nothing overlapping something it hides, nothing off the frame.
- Structure — enough beats to tell a story, the opening first, the closing last, a loop that joins.
- The backdrop — dark enough, and still right when the frame is cropped at the sides.
Nothing here blocks a save
Findings are suggestions. A reel with fifteen of them still saves and still downloads — the panel is a second reader, not a gate.
There is one exception, and it is a different thing: if the document itself does not add up — a beat showing a piece that is not in the pool, for instance — the save is refused and Checks says which. That is a broken reel rather than an untidy one, and it is not a state the editor will normally let you reach.
The five questions
At the bottom of the panel, five questions with no automatic answer: What is this about? What am I looking at? What is different between the two? Why do I care? What do I do now?
Write out the answers, quoting words that are actually on screen. If you cannot quote them, the reel does not say them yet — and that is the finding no measurement was ever going to produce.
