How big a reel may get
Every reel is bounded, so that a save stays fast and a reel stays watchable. Most of these you will never meet: the densest template that ships spends 23 pieces of the 60 a Free reel may hold.
| Limit | Free | Plus |
|---|---|---|
| Pieces in a reel | 60 | 200 |
| Beats in a reel | 12 | 12 |
| Pieces shown in one beat | 24 | 80 |
| Travelling dots on one connection | 6 | 12 |
| Hops in one dot’s route | 8 | 8 |
| Labels on one connection | 3 | 3 |
| Lines in one plot | 4 | 4 |
| Points in one line | 60 | 60 |
| Moments on one timeline | 8 | 8 |
| Rows in one recap | 4 | 4 |
| Blocks in one payoff | 2 | 2 |
| Rows in one payoff block | 4 | 4 |
| Rows in one panel | 6 | 6 |
| Rows in one Steps piece | 6 | 10 |
| Bars in one bar chart | 8 | 8 |
| Cold-viewer answers | 5 | 5 |
These are the plans as they ship. They are rows an operator can edit, so your account may differ — the playground refuses the save that would cross a line and says which line it was.
